All of us are dead is Netflix's new Korean zombie show packed with emotions, social meanings, strong performance, and talent behind the camera. Although it is a zombie show there is more to this drama that will make you want more, it is also about friendship, teen love, bullying, and societal issues. It also shows how adults handle situations through logic instead of the heart and interesting topic like how humans are scarier than those eye-popping zombies. This drama is definitely binge-worthy to watch sure to entertain k-drama fans, horror, and zombies enthusiasts alike, and will leave you with notable lessons. Here are some of the life lessons I learned from All of us are dead.

1. Be careful when pushing people too far

The book “Art of war” explains that if an army is completely surrounded with no option to retreat, and must either fight or die, then they will fight with triple the spirit of a normal warrior. This analogy is the same as cornering people leaving them with no option but to fight in some unimaginable way.

2. Never rush into making big decisions

Easier said than done especially if you’re an impulsive person. All of us make decisions every single day, some are small ones and some are big ones that are irreversible and can leave a permanent mark on our life. If we did something worst, we may need to be accepting and forgive ourselves at the same time look for possible solutions to make amends. Running away is never an option.

3. Nothing good comes from abandoning your friends

Karma has no menu, you get served what you deserved. Those who abandoned you will eventually screw themselves and that’s how karma works.

4. Sometimes you have to free other people from you

Sometimes you have to give a person a push in order to move forward. And in rare cases, the only person who can do that is you, they don’t have to deal with whatever baggage you’re holding on to. Take only memories and leave only footprints.

5. Actively listen to other people ideas

There are a number of better ways to do things, and those ideas will not always have to come from you. Listen to your peers or friends and you might get safer and more effective ideas to do things.

6. Be strong and positive even when you’re alone

Even if no one chooses you. You can still choose to be brave enough to face every challenge in life. It can be stormy right now but it can never rain forever.

7. Don’t Lose Hope

Locked doors won’t open on their own, that is why we have to keep pushing forward despite the hurdles that come along our way. It’s always better to hope for the best, sometimes help comes from the most unexpected places.

8. Humans are naturally selfish

It’s no doubt that all of us have a selfish side whether we accept it or not. Some are willing to sacrifice others for their own good. That is why kindness is very impressive especially in times of crisis. Because being kind is learned and to be kind, you must fight human nature.

9. You need self-control in an out of control world

Emotions are present in everything we do. It is the main driving source of our motivation and to be able to think clearly. Training your mind to be tougher than your desires and emotions will promise to take you so much further in life. This will lead to a healthy relationship with yourself and with other people.

10 Stand for what you believe

Sometimes we can’t avoid to faced with situations that can make us consider compromising our values. It’s not easy but stand for what you believe is right and wrong whether it’s for your own benefit or for the others. The more you stand for your own beliefs the more self-respect you develop and you’ll feel good about yourself.
